The views and sunsets I get to witness get more and more spectacular with each flight out here … stunning and breath taking are the only words I can bring to mind that can describe it
We finally have front steps
Family and friends come and go all year long. The ferry boats are a big part of life out here and other than flying or swimming. It’s our only way on or off the island, which also helps keep the island the way it is.
There are no franchise fast food or stores out here. Only family businesses are allowed. There’s always a smile and a tear at the ferry docks because there’s always a loved one coming or going.
Our house is located on Ocracoke Island in North Carolina. We’ve completed renovations and it has been available fore rent since 2016. Read the history of the house.
We also are working through the licensing needed to make it possible to provide charter flights to our house or to any other destination along the Outer Banks (OBX) of North Carolina. Learn more about our inexpensive charter flights to OBX.
The island is only 3 miles wide at its widest point so from the top of our building you can see beach and ocean in every direction.
